INSPIRING FLUTE SOLOS 
Suggested gradings

This is a list of SUGGESTED GRADINGS for all pieces in Inspiring Flute Solos, based on the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) syllabus. The gradings can be used for other similar exam systems.

 

The list has been prepared by a panel of senior teachers, including highly experienced AMEB examiners. 

 

Some pieces are between grades (3/4), so decide the grade according to how sophisticated the performer's interpretation is - for example, the use of phrasing, dynamic control, and the handling of tempo changes.
