Prizes will be in the form of a voucher to spend at selected music retailers worldwide. The prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

 

For all sections of the Championship the vouchers will be valued at:

 

• 1st prize $100.00 AUD (Australian Dollars)

• 2nd prize $70.00 AUD

• 3rd prize $40.00 AUD

 

ALL entrants will be emailed an individualized Participation Certificate with their name and signed by the judges. Participants will also receive a brief comment on their performance.

The Rachel Laurin Memorial Award - this award is to remember Canadian composer Rachel Laurin (1961-2023) who wrote 3 beautiful works for Lyrical Flute Legends. It will be awarded at the discretion of the judges if there is a performer who shows excellent potential but has not received 1st prize in their section (any age group).

Teacher Awards - as nominated by the judges, including the teachers of the 1st prize winner in each age championship, will each win a voucher for USD$25.00 to purchase music, lesson plans, games and /or other resources from the FlutePlay website shop.
